Question for the experts?????

I have removed my DSB from my tank and am replacing it with 120 lbs. Carib Sea Fiji Live sand. All my livestock and rock is crammed into my 55(soon to be sump) and has been running that way for 2 weeks now and I have another 40 Gallons of the original tank water in a trash can with heat and powerhead. Now my question is when I put all this back into the 125 should I expect to see any type of cycle?????
Thanks, Joe

Hae you al;ready purchased the live sand??

If not......dont or return it if possible. If you want to start fresh...start fresh with new sand....not live. It will become live soon enough

Well hopefully the rock will carry the bioload while the sand gems catch up, but you'll want to monitor closely at first

i am with Fly also, no sense in starting with LS that is prolly already filled with phosphates. it is better to start off with fresh dry sand. there is also no chance of a cycle happening due to the critters in the LS dying.

I already have the sand, I got it for about as cheap as I could get dry sand, I could not find a LFS that had the granular size in Dry that I wanted for as much as I needed. The sand is already in the tank!!!
