Question

Question about a 72 Gal. Bow Stand?

I currently have a 72 Gallon Bow front. I have the oceanic stand which has one single door made out of black glass in the middle of the tank. I currently use a maxi-reef 100 as a sump without an bio balls but I was contemplating putting in a larger sump. The problem that I see is trying to get a sump that is larger in through one door. Anyone out there with this stand or same style stand with a large sump in it? I was hoping for a 36" Long sump but not sure its gonna be able to get into the door. Unfortunaltey I can't go through the back because its only 6 inches from the wall. Any suggestions??
Jeff,
You have seen how cramped it is. Any ideas so I can get more space and more water volume?

A remote sump is out of the question in my current apt. When I do eventually get my house I will have a very nice sump in the basement with the tank on the main level. Just not yet.

well one way to do it , next time you do a water change.. remove a lot of water so you can move the tank a way from the wall to get the other tank behind and in to the stand..

Tony, other than a acrylic sump made in the stand, not sure if any other option is workable,,,like you mentioned to me, when you get a house,,,things will get better for options,,,,You think you got it bad? I gotta 200g Oceanic stand/tank waiting to be started up,,and the only thing i can get in the stand ,is the 40g wet/dry-tank that came with the tank. Thought about remote, or making a acrylic sump made in place that'll fit,,,,,
BTW: how many gallons you figger is your sump?
