QT a mandarin - hypo?

I am putting my new mandarin in QT for a few weeks - but I seem to remember them not tolerating hypo well, or maybe thats copper - can't remember. Could someone please advise??

well you are going to need to find some lice copopods for it to eat while its in hypo but pods cant survive hypo
or is it eating prepared food?

Why are you putting a mandarin in QT?? Mandarins are one of the only fish you do not need to QT. They have a slime coat on them that protects them. You can put them directly into your tank. They don't get ick.
