PVC LR Stand

I'm making a simple pvc support for the LR in the back of the tank. Should I drill it to let water pass through, or seal it with water in there? Or seal it with air in there?

Hmmm, drilling it would allow some flow but also a place for poo to collect I would think.

Fill it and cap it? if you just cap it it will be a real joy to set as it try to float to the top.

i was thinking the LR would weigh it down enough, but i agree it could be a pain.i guess i'll fill it, with sand or something.
