Oak Ridge is about 15 to 30 minutes West of most of Knoxville, road 170 will take you back into Knoxville to I-40, where it is easy to get to Tulloch's old shop, don't know the name of it now, but the new folk there seem to be pretty good from what I hear, might ask Fishdaddy, he is a native...

Hey mini mee,
Sorry I didn't see your post last night but my eyelids got in between me and my computer screen!!
Aquatic Specialists is the store that I trade with in Knoxville. This is the store that was founded by John Tullock and he still comes by. Randall Surrette, the owner, and his staff are very knowledgeable and great to do business with.
Here is their website: http://www.aquatic-specialists.com/
They are located on Broadway in North Knoxville, off I-640.
Oak Ridge is about 30-35 minutes away, depending on traffic.
Hope you enjoy your visit to East Tennessee!
BTW, we're expecting snow tomorrow!
Dick

This winter I drove with my parents to Tennessee to see relatives. On the way back to Jacksonville, FL we stop in Chattanooga to see the aquarium there. Its the largest freshwater aquarium in the world. They have a few saltwater tanks also but no reefs that I remember. If you get a chance to go to Chattanooga its definately worth it! There were some great exhibits
