I know of many people who like it, but also know that simply sustaining your calcium levels no matter how you do it will make the coralline grow just fine.
Ive never heard anything specifically negative about it.

its good and works will give your coraline a big boost. in my nano cube i had it set up for 6 months and did not get any major coraline but on my 60 gallon i got only 2 months after setting it up and using purple up it had more coraline. which reminds me i have to get a new bottle because i just got a 100 gallon

Don't need it, I know alot of people that used it and have never heard of any problems, They came out with a new bufferPlus, raises Alkalinity and contains Calcium, I know a few using it and also like it. I am affaid to use it. LOL, Too many additives on the market, 99 % not needed and alot that can give you troubles down the road

I wish they'd make PURPLE STOP. I am tired of scrapin it off my glass.

Keeping you calc & alk up and keeping your phos @ 0 will grow coralline out the ying yang.

just use b-ionic.. it'll do the same thing.

best way to get you phos down is get a phosban reactor. All you need is the reactor tube, a small 80gph pump, some 1/2 tubing, and one 130g bottle of phosban.. very easy to assemble and get going.. a great $60 investment... I got all the stuff for mine at marinedepot.
