purple hairy crab, ID please

last night i was looking around with a flash light and i noticed for the first time a purple nickel sized hairy crab. It was just sitting on a rock and then went to hide once i put the flash lite on him. Anyone have any ID? All the hairy one's people mention are brown with with white spots. My little guys was like purple-blue-ish. I also don't have any SPS, so he must have come on some live rock from my buddy. All i have are soft corals, do you guys think its necessary for me to get rid of it? And how? I can't locate him when the lites are on.

Apparently it's a Hairy Rock Crab, or so it's called that in this post:
http://www.thereeftank.com/forums/sh...threadid=19337 I have on too and I wonder if it's eating my other crabs, they are all disappearing.
