I need info on the best type of pump for my 240 gal.

Hi Jim and Welcome to The Reef Tank.

Tell us a little more about what the pump will be used for. Reef or fish only? External or submerged? Is this the main pump from the sump? Any other pumps for circulation? Any other information you could provide would be helpful.

Jim, are you looking to use internal,(in the sump) or external pumps?

You might want to look at getting a big one for everything like a Dolphin or something like that.
