pump for closed loop

I built a closed loop for my 90 gal. reef tank. I used a mag 9 submersible pump but I used it inline. I am not happy with the flow or the noise that my pump is making. I want to move up to a more powerful external pump. I only have softies so I don't need a lot of flow but I think I need at least 1200gph. my question is what pump (size and model) would give me the flow I need and low to no noise I'm looking for? If possible.

take a look at the sequnece pump. look at the dart. even though the external pumps show a lot more then you are looking for you can adjust that witha valve. you will still get some noise, you can try placeing it on a "mouse " pad or foam. also check to make sure you dont have pipes rattling.

take a look at the Velocity T3 or T4. the T3 may only say 800gph, but since it is a pressure rated pump it seems to push a lot more than that. plumbing does not seem to affect it much at all.
