Quite One 3000 for CL on 55g. Are these pumps worth the 40$?

I have a couple of quiet one 1200's and they are louder than an un-muffled hemi, that's when there in the sump! I've heard they fixed the problem, and that the larger ones aren't nearly as loud, but I still wouldn't get another.

I dont think the 300o will be powerfull enough. I tried it with 1" plumbing and there wasnt that much flow in my little tank.
Look at a mag 9-12 maybe.
depending on how many pipe exits, elbows, and tees you are planning to have.
Ps- quiet ones arent always quiet IME.

i think ive heard more conflicting reviews on quiet one pumps than any other. some say really quiet, some say really loud, some say good, some say weak... i quit looking at them myself due to all of it. my rios still kickin!! lol
