Proten skimmer say what?

I need a protein skimmer for my 20 gallon reef tank,
but what should i get?
I would like it to be affordable and quiet.
So far i've found:
Coralife Super Skimmer 65g,
Aqua SeaRemora
Euroreef
ASM
&
Octopus
Input please!!
Also, if you have any other ideas.
Also, i do not have a sump, but im planning on getting one!

Hmm, hard to say on a 20 gallon, as sometimes weekly husbandry can be quite effective, but I've heard great things about the deltec hang-on and good things about aquac remora.

If you're getting a sump, I'd say consider sizing it to house an octopus skimmer. Probably bigger than you need, but for the money it's one of the best on the market.

Ive had the Remora Aqua C Pro and now have the Coralife,and the Coralife is SO much better and quiter .But people say the Octopus is better.For a 20 gallon you don't need a Euro but I like them the most.

I have the aqua C and it was very loud. Do a search for the mod I did and it is 80% quieter now.

It keeps my tank pretty darn clean. In the early months of my tank it would make 1 cup every two days. Now that things have stabilized it makes about a cup every 2 weeks or so.

The best thing I like about it, no adjustments really needed and very easy to take care of. But without the mod I did, darn thing is pretty loud.

after shipping..like 165-170, save your pennies for a good skimmer...but if you are looking to save some money.. here's the Octopus, not the prettiest, but it get's the job done pretty well
