Protein Skimmers

What is the best protein skimmer for the money and ease of use? I do not want a skimmer that requires many adjustments or is hard to service. I have been looking at the Aqua C Urchin and ASM G skimmers. Are these any good?
Thanks.

well i like the beckett skimmers like the aqua c EV series no moving parts.
But i have never had anything else to compare it to.
it depends on were u will put your skimmer, you price range, and how much area you have to work with.

becketts always get stuff stuck in them and need maintained

a beckett skimmer is the last thing you want to buy if "ease of use" is your end goal....its the last kind of skimmer i would buy anyway......but I dont need to go there.....

dont buy an asm. asm's are economy skimmers for medium end prices.

If you are going economy, but a octopus, meshmod it and it will do a great job for you
