protein skimmer trouble

i bought a protein skimmer, i dont know the exact specs of it but it was made by instant ocean i guess, i got it for 50 bucks a while ago, but now i cant find the pump, i want to buy a new one, but i cant find anyone around me that sells em, and if i type it in on the internet, it doesnt come up just the pump, it comes witha skimmer, this is really frustrating.......

Depends on the flow of the other pump and how it produces the bubbles and the size of them. Probably best to stick to whats recomended. The Maxijets are cheap. You may be able to find them at a local store that carries aquarium supplys. That would save shipping.

Well, is the skimmer new or just new to you? If its new it needs to "break in". The overflowing is more than likely due to being adjusted to wet. Meaning the water level in the skimmer is too high. Can you post some pics? I am not familiar with the skimmer you have.

the seaclone is well..... um.... not know for its ability to produce foam reliably. Its very design makes it very difficult to adjust to produce skimmate. There are some modifications that can make it more effective but it will never be a cadillac

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.
