The issue with a seaclone is the venturi adjustment which seems to only produce the right amonut of foam in the collection cup when the water is a certain height. THe spoace between getting no foam and a thin water skimmate was very hard to hit. Or at least that was my experience with one years ago. But in a 10 gallon it shouldn't me much of an issue. Most 10g run w/o any skimmer
