all fish can get crypto, so stick with the fish you like. I always have trouble when I get too many types of feeding habits in one tank. EX: trying to keep an eel (who eats weekly) from getting all worked up just cause he smells food meant for the tangs (who eat daily). Or getting predators that are overly territorial (triggers, groupers, eels) stressing out the more mellow tankmates. Or getting fish that are simply huge waste-makers but reef safe (eel, grouper, lion) making the coral keeping a bear. Or getting fish who simply enjoy munching invertebrates simply because 'it's the only thing that will survive' since all my other fish are so tough. There is an art to it to be sure, alot more trial and error imo.
I think if you wanted to do it, the simplest way (least headache) would be with relatively non-aggressive and size restricted predators - hawkfish, lionfish, passive eels (snowflake, zebra, chain morays, or something a little more 'toothy' like g. miliaris), some triggers like the pinktail, bluejaw, crosshatch, can also be generally considered invertebrate safe and not overly territorial. Maybe one or two groupers may fit into this category (not many mind) - like the c. polleni.
hope this helps you some
