Powerhead review

I just installed a couple of these air cooled powerheads on my tank and they are sweeeeet. I had been wanting Geminis for a while but nobody ever had them in stock. These are made by SWR and put out 710 gph through two adjustable nozzles. There is also a model that has an output of 947 gph but only has one nozzle. I thought it might be a bit much for a 48" tank.

Thanks to Myreef for ordering them.

Rick

opps didn't see your link! not a bad price considering you get 2 power heads in one.

I have a piece of 1/4" acrylic sitting on the lip of the tank where the glass would go. I drilled a hole in it for the ph to go into. It's very stable like this but I did put some clear packing tape on it and the tank frame to keep from knocking it in the water when I clean the glass.

That looks great, Rick!! I like the idea of two nozzles.

btw...I went to your site and when I clicked on the setup link, I got an error (page not found). Do you know what could have caused that?

Hi Cath,

I went over my size limit with Homestead so I had to trim it down. I have since bought additional space and I'm giving the site a facelift so I'll have it back up and better than before. First I gotta figure out how to work Frontpage.
