Powerhead for 20g maxi or koralia

I currently have one maxi 1200 with flow rotator thing on it and a maxi 600.

You think two
Koralia NANO Power Heads would be better!

Not sure about better or not. The Koralia's will be more dispersed, but with your hydor rotator (I'm assuming that's what you have) you get more random flow. I used two MJ900s on my 20g mixed reef for years with great flow. I've had them on each corner and when I took the tank down last week they were in the middle pointing towards the corners. Both worked fine. What are you keeping in the tank?

The short answer would be "probably". The long aswer is "it depends". What are you trying to keep in your tank and in what way are you dissatisfied with the flow in your tank? Koralias do provide much more movement of water, but the flow is much wider. This is a good thing in a small tank, avoids sandstorms and dead spots.

I just got a 28g bowfront tank and researched all this and decided on the Tunze Nanostream instead of either. The smallest one is just 67 bucks from Marine Depot and it looks like the flow will be way better and balanced than a Maxi. I'll be putting it together midweek and aiming it at the middle of the bowfront. I think it is rated from 11 to 50 gallons or something like that.
