power outage!

Had a 5.5 hour power outage yesterday. Battery back-ups only lasted for an hour (return pump and heater). Tank temp dropped to about 75ish. Let the tank gradually heat up and everyone looks fine today. We've had some nasty wind here and a big tree fell on phone and power lines.

So, just a reminder that winter is coming and to have your backup plan ready! Jon was going to get the generator from work when the power came back on. All banggai babies are fine as well.

We'll be replacing the batteries in our battery backup now..and probably use more than one .

I'm really glad everything worked out OK. If Jon can steal (borrow) that generator, keep it handy. Sometimes the power can be out longer.

Glad to hear everything is OK. I know what you mean about the winds, it's so loud when a really big gust comes. Winter...Brrrrrrrrrr.
