power canister or fluidized bed filter

hi i have a fish only systems with big fish so far my filtration is rated for twice the tank capacity, however i want to increase it to bring the last little tiny bit of nitrite down from 0.3 to 0.0 so far i have an enheim wet and dry power filter a nitrate reductor (aquamedic) run off a dosing pump a prizm delux protien skimmer a uv, ozone generatore


however im adding either a fluidized bed or a canister as i want a backup as well as the extra bio filter, i also want it to polish the water as i have floss running from the return of the skimmer and i only have a little more to polish up

im wanting to know the pros and const of the 2 filters , the canister one which is on order is a 5 tray 9ltr media capacity jebo from charterhouse-aquatics.co.uk
but i have the options to cancle

please help... did i make the right choice and why????

if you have a fish only system , then you dont have to worry too much about your nitrates. since the fish are big they poop a lot and excess food would be more too. i was never a fluidized filter person so can nto tell you much on it. but i have several canasters. i use them as an extra once in a while on the tanks to help polish the water.
you said filter you have now is a trickle system ( wet dry). does it have the bio balls in it? if so take a look at the last part of the disscussion of the week, we talked about bio balls.
if it does there are helping keep the nitrates in the tank.

its not a filter as such its one of the enheim wet and dry canisters it has pro substrat and fills then empties continusly, still wanting to know which is going to be the better for my needs and to know which is going to polish the water tho, thanks for your help ,
