Possible new sump - CA reactor wont fit

Well I ordered a Georeef CA Reactor and received it yesterday. Very nice constructed unit.

Well, there is a problem like everything else I do with this tank. It does not fit under the stand next to the sump. Well if I can get it in there it will just fit but I can get in past the stand construction on the corner. I cant have it next to the tank due to a 1 year old that will attack it.

Probably just going to return it if I can.

Any other ideas? I hate having a 3ft tank but living in the projects (condo) its al lI can do. There is no closet behind the tank either.

I can possibly get a new sump made. The sump I would need is 20x14x16

go and get another cabnet or something that you can set next to the tank and use to hide the reactor. or build a shelf over the tank and set it up there.

dont want another cabinet next to the tank either. Above the tank will not work due to my canopy thats there already. I dont want to see the reactor either. The tank is in my living room.

I think everyone gave your options. Sorry to hear that it won't work for You . Send it back and have Andy at My Reef Creations build one to fit. He is a sponsor and really make a good Ca reactor.

Only one person replied so I guess that means evryONE. Just want to make sure before I returen this and pay for shipping and the shipping I already paid for.

I didn't much luck with his skimmer so I am gun shy about goign back to them. I am not knocking him just not for me.

I guess Your right only one reply, It's not alot of options other then outside the stand , in a new cabinet. Hate to see You have to pay for shipping the reactor back. I have a reator from andy and It works very well. Don't have a skimmer by him.
