pop eye or just irritation

i have a clown that has a bludging eye, it doesnt look like the whole eye is bulging out like ive seen before, it looks like it has a slightly opaque lens cover, like a snake that doesnt shed its eye caps, what do you guys think? problem or probably just rubbed it against something??

it could be cloudy eye, and by your description i think it is. Its usually caused by poor water conditions or bacterial infection. I would keep an eye on him for one week to see if it gets better on its own, which it usually does, and if it doesnt put him in a quarantine and try melafix which is a medication for things like this.
