please look at that. Tell me if you think this fish is ok for a 100gal . My friend is lookin at putting it in his tank but i told him it would most likly knock coral frags around

big bulky fish, will knock things around for sure. Most groupers I have seen are too big for a 100 gal

100 g is the bare min it seems, so I wouldnt chance it...plus that thing will eat any small fish with.

Heh, I find it amusing that your friend is looking for advice on a $350 fish. Personally, I would have to be darn sure something that expensive will fit perfectly into my system...or build a tank around it. I personally wouldn't spend that much on a fish with less that a 150gal setup.

Let me know how it works out for your friend if he gets it. I am prolly getting a small Miniatus Grouper for my 75gal and see how he does. I am in the process of upgrading to a ~150-200gal. I would like to do a predator reef tank, I am kinda assuming this is what your friend is doing???

I would have to agree 100 to small.175 or bigger.
