Polished Aluminum reflector???

Hey all,
I am looking to get more light into my tank. I currently have a Hamilton Hood with a 250 MH and two 55W PC's. The inside of the hood is powder coated with a bright white paint. My question is would a retro-fitted polished aluminum reflector vastly improve the light getting into my tank? Is there anyplace I can buy custom cut polished aluminum to fit my hood? Thanks for the help!!

Here is a pic of the interior of the hood, to give you an idea of what it currently looks like.

my guess is that yes polished aliminum would give more reflection and better light in the tank.

you might try www.aquaticco.com they might do something custom.

or maybe even hd, if you have the tools to cut the aluminum yourself. if not i'd try a local metal shop. a few pieces of cut aluminum shouldn't cost too much, then just glue or silicone in place.
