plumbing question

i was wondering if pvc glue and primer will hurt anything in my tank... I just built a sump and refuge and about it start the plumbing part of the project and was thinking that maybe they make something special for glueing the pvc together... Thanks In Advance...

I just used 100% silicone around the joints that needed sealing. aquarium safe, holds PVC well.

Just let it dry.....i have never had any problems with it. I just use the PVC glue from HD. Any ole brand. I let mine cure the and it was no big deal.
