Just stopping bye

Just thought I'd stop by an introduce myself as a sponsor. I frequent most on the TCMAS club forum.

I have been keeping saltwater aquariums for about 7-8 years now. I started with freshwater aquariums who knows how many years ago. I worked at Petsmart as a fish specialist for two years, but realized I wasn't happy there. I also discovered I could do better performing tank maintenance and setups, so I left Petsmart. I then created a maintenance business, but now that's more of a side project. I realized the huge liabilities involved with setting up and maintaining tanks...oops my kids through a penny in the sump...why is everything dead? or my favorite....Ahh the tank is flooding because a snail crawled in the overflow!! Then I began buying and selling corals, saving a little bit for myself and selling the rest to pay for it. I realized there was a real business in this. I also felt like I could be different than other companies. Sorry if that seemed like a bunch of babble.

Well am I different?
I am different because I am a hobbyist...nope tons of hobbyists business owners out there.
I have a passion for aquariums...nope, lots of business owners have a passion for their job.
I offer excellent customer service, well so do a lot of other places.
My prices are affordable, well saltwater is not affordable lol, but there are many places with great prices.
I have better corals than everyone else, I try to take care of my corals to the best of my ability, but so do other businesses.
Ok I have it...I have all the super rare corals...actually no. I try to carry what I consider premium corals, but just because it has the title LE doesn't mean it's cool looking.

So what actually sets me apart is the combination of all the qualities listed above. As a hobbyist I understand the wants and needs of the modern aquarist. I also love what I do! I try to offer responsive customer service, going above and beyond other companies. I try to treat people how I would like to be treated. I try to keep my prices reasonable because I started the hobby when I was 10 or 11... I'm also an entrepreneur major at St. Thomas in West St. Paul, MN and hope that this business will serve as "good practice" for something better to come.

Happy Reefing
