planning on fish, i think cycle is done

Ok, so I got everything going great. I just tested my water and the colours matched up on the box for good water. I'm going to take it to my LFS and double check on my water to make sure its good.

Fish I like:
Wolf eels and Snoflake eels

Puffers

Triggers (Humu Picasso)

Lionfish are pretty

Angelfish are nice.

I'm not sure about which species because I dont know too much about the habits of agressive fish vs. non agressive etc.

But I am really wanting an eel, i think they are awesome

well im assuming this is a fish only system
but im not familiar with most the fish up there but what size is your tank?
b/c angles need a really big tank when full grown you could start out with a trigger or 2

That's pretty small for a lot of the species of fish you're looking at... but I think there are a couple of eels that can fit comfortably enough in that small of a setup. Make sure you do you research on the particular fish you select!

sorry, but none of those fish would fit in a 55 except for the snowflake, and even then when it gets fully grown i would be looking for a bigger tank. all of the others will quickly outgrow the tank.

then there is the need for the biggest skimmer known to man to keep the fish poo under control.

The angel is the only non aggressive fish listed. It is better to get a few brightly colored reef fish, then the one or two predator fish you could fit in the 55.
