Plan looks like this..
since ive come to the conclusion i need a bigger tank (i said it before we even got this 20 gal) ive talked both my parents into letting me put in a 45 gallon and getting rid of my dresser and trophy cabinet( putting upshelving and whatnot)...sooo heres what I THINK the plans gonna be...
45 gal tank
Jebo PS75 SUMP Protein Skimmer
Live Sand + Crushed Gravel bottom
Plently Live Rock
... need ideas for filtration and lighting...putting in a hawkfish, clarkii clown, percula clown, and what looks like (and some have told me) a flower anenome

Are you doing an overflow and sump?
Also I would just do sand/aragonite and leave of the crushed coral!

Not necassary...but make hiding things a lot easier and more options and better skimmers!

I agree with skipping the crushed coral. I do not believe you need very strong lighting with what you say is in the tank. Just a skimmer, LR, LS, and good flow, and I think you are on your way.

are you planning on any corals, if so, and for the sake on the anenome, you should at least try to get a set of power compacts, or better.
