Placement for a new Toad stool Leather
Suggestions for placement of new toadstool leather coral. I'm thinking mid level, mod flow, epoxy base to a large rock. What would be a good orientation? coral facing up or pointing towards the front of the tank?

i like to start with everything on the sand bed. (if possible, toad stool may be an issue) and move them as i feel ready to.

I have mine in the middle of the tank. it faces up when it opens fully. I have a power head pointing right at him which it seems to love.

i agree high light high flow. but he needs to be facing the light. not the front of the tank.
for the brain i would for sure leave it in the sand, (if you have the lighting for it.)

What type of lighting do you have? if you have halides then a little lower, especially at first. The brain, sand works well if it stays settled, don't want him getting sand blown on him. If you are running t5s or cfs top with the toadstool and mid to top with the brain. I have halides but I still have my brain halfway up on the rockwork. My old toadstools I put towrds the top and in a heavier flow area but to the side and not directly under the halide.
