Question

Place to buy new tanks.....

All,

I am in the process of shopping for a new tank. I am looking for a RR 75G or 90G all glass. I have gone to a few LFS and found some beautiful Stands/canopies/tanks but the prices are outrageous. The last 90G tank/hood/stand I bought 10 years ago (broken last year during a house move) was a fraction of these prices.

Is it worthwhile to purchase tanks off of the internet? Where do many of you get your tanks/canopies/stands?

Thanks
Chris

i really do not like the look of the cabinets and stands and canopies so i just make my own. not sure were you can get a good price on line..not sure if we have sponors here that offer a discount on them..i am not sure but the mark up is not that great on just the tank, but a combo may be a lot more..

The cheapest place I have found in northern NJ is reef encounter in Hackensack. They have aga and oceanic in stock most times.
