Are you sure it is not a molt? I have a few pistols in my tank, and they have never harmed anything.

Yea I made sure that it was the actual body.. It looked kinda like a shrimp you would buy from the supermarket .

i hear clicking each night but dont know where its from. does any other shrimp of fis make that noise? maybe thats the cause of my disappearing shrimp!! how can we find them!!

Sounds like you may have a mantis shrimp.
