Pink-tail Trigger has eye problem (photo attached)

Hello,

Just tonight we noticed our large pink-tail trigger has a very protuding eye socket / eye. We couldn't get him to cooperate at all with the camera, so this is the best I could do...a profile shot. I haven't even seen the eyeball yet myself. We didn't notice this last night when feeding, but it sure is big now.

Any idea what it is and what we should do? We've had him about 4 yrs...

Thank you very much!

Shirley
