Pink Birdsnest
So I passed by the LFS today on the way home from work and saw a Pink Birdsnest frag had fallen over in the store's tank and broke into 3 pieces. I showed the fish guy and he was gonna pitch it. I told him I'd take it, so I got it for free. Bonus for me! It even has alot of new growth tips on it, I can't believe he was gonna throw it out. Took it home, glued it to a rock...works for me.

Kinda makes me wonder what else this guy (who is a part time fish room guy) has thrown out.

Nice freebie. I think I would start dropping by the store more often to see what else happens to get broken while he is working. All of those little free frags can grow into some very nice colonies someday.

That's what I was wondering. The white spot where the branches broke off has a tiny black dot in the center. Will that cover over or will that part just stay white?

Also, where should they be? I think I read they like to be high in the tank.
