Question

pictures of tanks to cpu's

I know I am getting to be a bother...but I am trying to find a way of gettin pics of my tanks onto my CPU. I've tried both reg and polaroid camera's, and both look like crap. Was wondering if any of you were using Digital Cam's, or have any suggestions on what to use camera wise to get some good pics...and if I need to turn the lights/anything with waterflow off. Thanks.

A digital camera is the easiest way to get good quality pictures. However, if you use a good 35mm and a good scanner, you'll probably end up with better pictures. Polaroids don't look good *before* you scan them...

I currently use the 35mm/scanner option, as I have an Olympus photography system, but I have been researching the digital cams out there, and the new Nikon DS1 may be an alternative, and I like the 950 as well. Here is a link:

I have tried taking pics of tanks with my current 35mm, and they seem to come out too blurry. Do I need to discontinue any/all waterflow and turn off the lights/turn off the flash to do this? I seem to either get lots of blur from the water movement my guess, or tons of glare on the tank to where you can't see anything inside it. Hopefully will get some more insight on this issue. Thanks.
