Pics of Sick Coris Wrasse
Hi Everyone
Here are a couple pics of my sick Yellow Coris Wrasse. I have been online for hours with no luck. Any ideas what it is? Forgive the pics as he is camera shy!

Looks like a bacterial infection to me. IMO get him out of the main display at least until you figure out what he has and what to treat him with because it could be contageous.
Last time I saw blotching like that I had a virulent case of Vibrio in my sell system and it spread like wildfire.
I hate to recommend antibiotics, but I think that they are indicated here, 7-10 days of something broad spectrum, gram postive or gram negative, like Spectrogram or Kanamyacin. Do the full treatment even if he looks better, because if you don't you risk the bacterium becoming resistant.
Don't use equipment between tanks - whatever equipment you use in the hospital tank, do NOT use in the main tank. We were able to prevent the Vibrio from spreading to other systems by doing this and bleaching and sterilizing everything when treatment was over.
I'm not saying it's Vibrio per se, but I'd treat any bacterial infection carefully and being careful not to cross-contaminate.

Turn the lights off, wait til he goes to bed, then scoop him and the sand he's sleeping in. You will just have to watch where he goes to sleep. As long as it's in an open area, that's the best way to catch him.
