Picking up the 220 gallon tomorrow, PICS!

I am taking the plunge and picking up a 220 gallon (used) tank tomorrow. The guy that has it right now has had it for about 6 months, and had it as a fresh water live plant set up. He had an automatic top off system that kept losing siphon, he overflowed the tank one too many times and he has to replace the carpet because some of the stain from the stand bled onto the white carpet. So his wife said to get rid of the tank. I saw the manufacturers sticker and it says July 03!! It is a Perfecto tank, not drilled. I can't wait to set up this huge tank!! I will have to have a Reef Tank meeting at my house for the Twin Cities area once I get it all set up, I plan to make it a larger version of my 37 gallon that I will post a pic of as well. That's my wife standing next to the 220 gallon, she is 5' 7", so you can tell how tall the tank really is!

Here's my 37 gallon that has the same theme that the 220 will have.

Now that's an upgrade! The hood looks a little short for MH's. What's the plan for lighting? On your 37 it looks like there is sand in the overflow. Can I ask why??

The 220 was never dosed with Copper, he never had fish in it either. The reason I have sand in the overflow of my 37 gallon is to have an area for the denitrifying bacteria to stay. I wanted to do this so that I didn't have a complete DSB in the tank, so I am partially safe even if the DSB in the overflow should crash. I plan to go the fluorsescent route ( PCs) but I may go with one MH bulb along with the fluorescents, but would have to build up the canopy to do so.
