how do I post a clean looking picture of mt tank if I can only upload files that are 175k? please help I would like to show my tank

do You have a area on the web where You can store the pictures , FTP site then You can post a URL link is the message area of the post, That is how I do it, I have never used the uplosd feature here .

I know that Win XP has a Microsoft Photo Editor, to access this program select the pic that you want to use then right click the pic then go down to open with then click Microsoft Photo Editor. Once the program opens click on image then resize. This is one easy way to resize an image.

By compressing the image and resizing it, you can make it smaller in file size without compromising too much image quality. Check out the pics in this tread: http://thereeftank.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50183 They are all under 200k and 800 pixels wide.

You need software to be able to do compress and resize though. Like Tim said, WinXP has Photo Editor.
