Phosphates from RO/DI?

I have a new ro/di from the filter guys. Its an Ocean Reef 4 and had been in use less than a month. I think Ive made less than 100 gallons of water. The TDS meter is reading 1ppm IN and ZERO PPM out.

Ive noticed a small (and I do mean small) film on my Loc Line that my blenny is munching on, it looks dark red. There should be no phosphates coming out of the ro/di, correct?

correct, make sure the ro filter is seated properly.

having 0 tds coming out of the RO/DI does not mean that there is not any phosphates in your system. there will always be phosphates in your system. if there wasn't any than the tank would be dead. even if your tank is super clean you will still get a bit of coralline or other film algaes on the sunny side of surfaces.
