Phosban Reactor/ Kalk Reactor

Since nobody reads the think tank threads...

Has anybody tried to turn a phosban reactor into a kalk reactor? I'm looking at some kalkreactors and they seem really pricey compared to the $30 phosban reactor. All you would really need to do is cut the inlet rod down the middle and add a pump on it in an external closed loop sorta thing. Seems like a cheap alternative to a kalk reactor.

Something like this-

Not a bad idea,... I tried to DIY one but it leaked I'm no good with acrilic.

I currently use a RO charcoal canister as one, but still need to add the pump.

I guess it could be hard to make a gasket work on a curved surface... maybe just put some weld on and a bead of silicone?

I run both on my sump. PM KalkReactor and Phosban Reactor.
A few problems:

the chamber is too small, you'll be filling it weekly
the top is tight, but not sure if it's air tight
finding a small enough pump to stir the chamber without exploding it!
chamber too thin/flimsy to support conduits

Trust me, I didn't like spending a couple hunge on my reactor but when I got it, I quickly realized where the money went. I have no regrets.
