peristernia forskali

I'm not sure, but I think I have one of these (or something very close in visual relation) to this snail. Problem is I can't seem to find anything about them, other than people collecting their shells. It's pretty cool how the pattern on the shell seems to flow into the snail's soft tissue as well. I'd like to keep him alive, but would like more information on them. Can anyone tell me about these snails? What do they eat, where do they live, are they toxic, etc. So far it seems to roam around the glass mainly... on the rock sometimes, but never in the sand.

Thank you so much. I looked around for a while, but seemed to only find shells and names... not too usefull. I'll call the aquarium first thing tomorrow and see if they can take care of the little guy.
