perfecto overflow kit


i am looking at my perfecto 180 overflow kit. does everyone\anyone ever modified it for better flow or for any reason for that matter? i am getting ready tonight to fasten it in and am looking for any last minute advice, hints, tips, or just plain crazy ideas?

you are pretty much limited by the bulkhead size.

I agree with Geoff, plus with something like an overflow I would try it before cutting anything bigger, becuase you can't un-cut it, and you wouldn't want your water level to end up below your tank trim.

the top of the overflow is 1 and 1\2" I.D. it comes up and has two 90's that redirect the overflow downwards and has a small hole drilled in the top with a small rigid airline in it. i assume it is to cut down on gurgling.
