Peppermint shrimp messes with anemone

My peppermint shrimp seems to be messing with the bubble tip anemone that I recently got. Is this normal. What the shrimp is doing is climbing up the edge of the anemone and picking, the anemone just balls up and away from the shrimp.

Perfectly normal . The pep is looking for food .Once the nem gets comfortable . It will give the pep a sting and it will not be as frequent .

its normal. peppermint shrimp can be a pain sometimes. Mine have picked at a coral before......and one tore up my favorite colony once, I was so mad that I pulled it out of the tank.....chopped it up and fed it to the fish. lets just say his friends got the point because they too were picking at the corals, and now they dont. And my fish got a good fresh meal. I felt bad for doing it.....but man was I mad. lol. Hope your stops being a pest and straightens up for you.

Thanks, I feel better now. Looks like my two clowns are now friendly with the anemone. It is really cool to watch them interact. Anyone one know a rule of thumb of how much and what to feed these guys? I have tried some shrimp and it was rejected, maybe too big?

thanks
