Peppermint Shrimp and tube worms (feather dusters)

A question for peppermint shrimp owners. First off so you know what I'm dealing with, I have a 60gal reef tank with sump, fuge, LR, LS, 5 chromis, pacific blue tang, 2 ocellaris, purple fire fish, neon goby, 2 cleaner shrimp, clean up crew, soft corals, and frog spawn, and green star polyps. I am thinking about getting a few peppermint shrimp to deal with an aiptasia (glass anemone) outbreak in my tank. I've done a bit of searching and from what I understand they are totally reef safe but correct me if I'm wrong. What I would like to know is if they will eat small feather dusters (tube worms). I read in one post that they will eat them. I have quite a few of them that have just shown up over time, especially in two areas of my tank and I think they're cool and don't want to loose them. Has anyone else had any experience with peppermint shrimp eating or not eating small feather dusters? Also, I'm pretty sure they're safe together but just to make sure, they do get along with skunk cleaner shrimp right? Thanks in advance for opinions, past experience, and ideas. - Justin

not sure. I know pepermints are rumored to eat Aiptasia...but not sure about Feather dusters.

And I'm also a little leary of the Pep and the skunk cleaner. Not so sure they'll get along.

But wait for other opinions, as I'm not 100% sure.

I have 2 peppermint shrimp and 4 feather dusters, so far all have been living in harmony for several months now... And the shrimp have made a dent in the altipista...

Are you refering to the large feather dusters? I don't have any of those, I've got the little guys that just pop up from LR and grow all over the place. Mine are about 1-3 inches long and only as thick as string. Those are the ones I read can become lunch for peppermints. Glad to hear yours are eating the aiptasia, that's very useful.

Well, yes, the large feather dusters... I do see some smaller feather dusters on the rock but not many....

I have lots of little tube worms which have grown over time and my peppermints leave them alone... I heard that the tank raised peppermints might bug some corals, SPS primarily.. but mine have not bothered my sps.. they are good scavengers.. I see them out at night mostly..
