peppermint shrimp and coral banded shrimp compatible?

my coral banded shrimp is pretty aggressive, he tries to snip at me and does a funny lil dance when my hand gets too close. I have interest in a peppermint shrimp and was wondering if I could have them both in my 29?

i have a banded shrimp and a skunk shrimp in my tank and they get along just fine.. they do tend to stay on other ends of the tank for most part of the time but during feeding time they come out to gether.. i would think they would be fine together. banded shrimp can get territorial..

I have a banded shrimp, had him for a long time, he search's all over the tank and is very territorial. I added a different shrimp a long time ago and he didnt last more then a day. I think you would have better luck if they were both kind of new too the tank and added at the same time also close to the same size. My Coral banded came in tiny and grew reallly fast.

Bad idea, IMO. My friend had a peppermint and then added a coral banded. Lets just say after he got home from work the next day, the peppermint shrimp was no longer alive. But I would imagine its like other fish, some are very aggressive, and some arent.

Unless its a tank larger than a 55 you would be on high risk, i read somewhere that CBS in the wild set up home in territory about the size of a standard 55.
