Lightbulb

PC lighting (10K or 6.5K) and why?

Ahh the lightbuld icon is good for something

Basically I need to upgrade my old lights because they are far past the prime and each PC bulb is $50.

I assume the 10K is better to compliment my 03's, but I'm not possitive, and I'd rather know now than to buy them and be dissapointed.

They also have those fancy 50/50 lights, but I figured I didn't want to head that route since I just bought the 03's.

Then I can finally update my MH bulb and I'll be back in business!!

Hey Endo...how are ya. i'd probably go with the 10k. See if you can order it from somewhere that might let you return it if it is too blue. Or order one of each and see which one you like best and return the other. The 50/50 bulbs look really nice, but I understand not wanting to scrap the 03's though.

Brooke!

I'm doing alright, kind of re-getting back into the hobby, my other hobby (Flash Design) is kind of making some money so I can do a little bit of upgrading!

I'm a really big sucker for that really bright light blue colour... The problem is, I'm not the animal living under it. If they are partial to light, I'd rather get one that was rated at a higher Kalvin.

The RO is still kicking out the good water, I just need to upgrade the carbon filter (No stores around here have it, and I can't order from the US at this time). I'll find one though

Add to that a Clam and a Foxface, and I'll be 1 water filtration machine!

Have you checked with SpectraPure for the replacement filters? I believe that they ship international?
