Pairing Pajamas

Well, I decided my tank has been empty (of fish) long enough! I picked up 4 small green chromis and two pajama cardinals yesterday and they are doing well in my Q-tank. They will be staying in Q for about a month if all goes well. I'm treating with Malachite green and formalin for ick and other protozoan parasites, but, do not intend to use any other meds unless it becomes neccessary.

I'm am hoping to get a pair of the cardinals in hopes of future breeding. I don't think I have a pair with these two, however, as already one is chasing the other away from the same corner of the tank. If possible, I'll see if I can't exchange one until I get a compatible pair.

Is there anyone out there with any success breeding the pajama cardinals? I've read that they should be very similar to the Bangaii cardinals. Is there any way to sex these fish by looking at them? Any experience/advice on these fish would be appreciated.:rudy:

I keep a solitary PJ cardinal, I'd like to see if others have input, because I'd like to get him/her a mate, and see if we can't get something else birthin' in this house! As IF there aren't enough younguns....

But since I'm up at all hours rattling the brine pots around, might as well feed some more hungry tots.....

Apparantly they can be sexed by the length of the filiment off the second dorsal fin. The males are longer. I think I will have to see a lot more PJs to tell the differance, though, cause they all look the same to me, so far. I do think I have two males in my Q-tank, however judging by their behavior, so, I guess I'll keep my eyes open for more PJs and see if I can't find a couple females.
