Pairing Clown's ??? & 'fuge ???

do they have to be the same color or species of clown to mate?
do they have to have a certain anenime to be happy? (sorry for the spelling)

and off topic ???
what and whan should i put stuff in 'fuge ?
i set mine up a few weeks ago and have about 8.5 gl. cap. with 3-4" of livesand, some dead rock rubble, the green stuff that is like a brillow pad, and some red stuff too.
i also have 4 blue legs, 5 astrea snails

Color variations amongst same species clownfish are not an issue as far as pairing off goes, tho normally they don't mate outside their species, some are so similar that they can intermingle and create hybrids. Shouldn't be an issue in an aquarium, dissimilar species may coexist and possibly even display some mating ritual, at least the part where the Female gets growth spurt and "courts" the male, but chances of getting fertile eggs from such a union are slim, and even less that resulting fry hatch will make it past yolk phase, even if they did.
With different species clowns, USUALLY they establish their own little space in the tank, and may or may not interact with other clowns
