overflow box for 20gal long sump i am making


these are the two overflows i am looking at www.thatfishplace.com the first is made by tidepool and the next by cpr called the cs90.........any comments yes.no..these suck????? they both do 600gph and the tidepool is $20 less

I personally like ones that have a siphon tube in them. I think they are the most reliable ones that you can buy. Like the one in the pic it has the "U" tube for a siphon overflow.

why not drill your tank for an overflow or make your own overflow box?

i have the one tim showed, when i was shopping, that is the one everyone reccomended too, seems to have the least of problems, i heard the cpr types loose syphon easier, but i havent had experience, just what i heard.

I like the CPR with the pump, i had the tube type overflow for 15 years and always hat to reprime because of air trapped in the top of the tube, so i went to the CPR with the syphon pump, & i bought 2 extra rebuild kit's for the pumps, their about $8.00 bucks each, so i will rebuild them about every 6 months needed or not, i have had 3 power outages & the CPR starts every time, JMO
