two weeks ago i went for my drivers permit, you know, the written exam...i'm 23, so this is a big deal, i've never driven, i've always been scared to drive...
anyhoo, i failed...
then last week i went back, failed again
well i am pleased to report that TODAY I PASSED! thass right, got my permit....i can now learn how to drive...
(not that i want to...yet, but i can if i change my mind LOL)
i just keep trying to remind myself if i drive, i can go see my kids easier...that would be the best thing...

Hey, congratulations on your new found freedom!
Just remember, never get behind the wheel if:
A) you cannot feel your toes
B) your mind feels disconnected from your body
or,
C) all of the above
Of course, disregard all of this if your being chased...

Hey Princess,
Good for you! I'm embarassed to say that when I moved back here to Oregon some years ago I failed the written exam too, that didn't stop me though. ...... However the two tickets for driving without a license did I'm proud to say that I did finally got my license. Man the judges around here sure get cranky about that sort of thing
Cheers,
Pat

i would take my driving test, IF I KNEW HOW TO DRIVE
i've only been behind the wheel ONE time and it was for about 8 seconds...i almost went off the road cos it was a manual and i looked down to see what i was doing & almost hit a tree...that was a couple years ago..
as soon as i find a victim er, i mean willing person to let me practice & figure out how to drive, i'll then take my road test..LOL

Hey that's great spam_princess,
Although I never had a problem taking the test (learned how to drive a standard first that seemed to help when it came to an automatic) tests usually make people nervous.
I had a friend that took the driving test, he used a friends car, the friend forgot to tell him that when you accelerate the passenger seat flys back (broken), instructor got in, budy hit the gas and Bam the instructor went flying into the back seat, he had to take the test again
I guess the instructor was the same guy the first time around and wouldn't get into the car so he had to get another instructor even after budy told him over and over the seat was fixed, hehehe
Good luck, once you get it, practice with your folks car, in a empty parking lot at the edge of town

but i have some friend's with cars, i'm gonna go to parking lots & back roads i guess
but not yet...i'm not feeling ready yet

When you're ready you'll learn & you'll do fine! After all you have /are learned/learning how to take care of a reef tank. No easy task.
Good luck!
