Original Watermelon Chalice
Best looking Chalice I've ever seen. I have the atlantis watermelon chalice, but the orinianl dominates by alot IMO.

Mine is about ready for fragging too. WOW....I got a quarter sized frag for $40 from http://www.exoticreefs.us/ a year ago. They're advertising a similiar auction on their webpage...final price $510.
Mmmm... I think my skimmer just got paid for. I'll take a pic tonite...frag is 4 times the original size, about 3" in diameter.

Ho Boy. After reading that Advanced Aquarist article, I started looking for Echino's. The best bets for them are till lfs's as they are often brown there. I've gotten two that were brown and one's now purple, the other is purple with silverblue streaks. The streaked one I got for $20, 6" diameter, but the center was dead, but it is quickly growing over the dead part (quicker than I'd have expected too, since they are reported to grow slow)

I picked up one in the UK for £30 ($52), no one could tell me what it was, its now lava red.

The frag I got is growing good. And here's how it was fragged.
Someone had a wet-dry tile saw, and took the coral...and just saw'ed it up into little squares.
Then glued the squares to plugs.
That simple.
just saw it up like a sicilian pizza! hahaha
