orange spot blenny (Istiblennius chrysopilos)

haven't seen much on this fish http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...?pcatid=89&N=0 . and the availability seems limited. anyone with any experiences? i know leonardo has one in the formosa forest i was just wandering on others experiences with this species.

it would go in a 75 sps system with a good amount of film/mulm algae on the rx that i want removed and thought he'd do the job (plus good lookin and a color personality i don't have in there). will this species survive a six week quarantine without film algae available?

similar mouthparts and diets. i have heard this same thing about any of the bristletooth tangs and the blennies. this will be in place of a bristletooth tang bc i already have a zebrasoma in a 75.

good to know it ate an alternative diet. was yours hard to find or did you just happen upon it and buy it?

I just happened upon it while on a weekend getaway - the LFS was nice enough to hold it for us until Sunday when we went home

That is a really cool looking fish. I bet he and my bi-color blenny would not get along in the least bit though.

Good luck on finding one Scott!
